Casa Río Seco

Arenas is an authentic white village located in the region of Axarquía, Andalucia.
1 km before the village you will find the former cortijo (Spanish farmhouse), Casa Río Seco.
This house has two floors, the ground floor apartment is available for rental all year round. The apartment overlooks a valley with olive and almond trees.

The apartment

The apartment has 2 bedrooms each with a double bed. The cozy living room has a kitchen. The house has a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains and the valley and lots of privacy. The owners have an apartment above the house where they live throughout the year. They can offer advice on where to go in the surrounding area  and on other activities.

Favorable location

From Casa Río Seco you are in no time in the picturesque village of Arenas, which has not yet been discovered by tourists. You can wander around the narrow streets and traditionally painted white houses where time seems to have stopped. Here you will find the remains of the Moorish architecture. The village has several restaurants where they prepare simple but delicious meals. For daily shopping, there are a number of shops in the village.
For people who like horse riding, Paco, the neighbour, guides you on horseback through the mountains, where you can enjoy the rugged landscape, and the beautiful flora and fauna.
Hikers can explore the local hills and mountains, located in the Sierra de Tejeda, to their heart's content.
Culture lovers can visit the nearby beautiful cities of Malaga, Granada, Seville and Ronda.
By car you can drive along the winding roads through the many  white, moorish-influenced villages.
